You would be forgiven for walking past the discreet entrance, but once you enter the Riverside you will be delighted to have stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant.  There is a real sense of warmth enhanced by low beamed ceilings, an array of candles and the warm rich food smells that waft from the kitchens to prepare you for your meal…

You can choose from a thoughtful selection of new world and traditional wines, with sensible pricing to suit every budget, with an attractive choice of wines by the glass if you’re being careful!

The menu is always freshly cooked using the best fresh produce of the season, sourced locally, ensuring a variety of dishes prepared at their very best.

Tuesday to Saturday lunchtimes diners can choose from our Lunch Menu with an ever changing variety of dishes to suit all tastes.  In the evening diners can choose from a wider selection on our A la Carte menu, including our famous Char-Grilled Steaks.

Sunday lunch is back to tradition with a choice of starters, followed by a generous roast dinner of Slow Roasted Beef, Lamb or Roast Pork with Crackling & homemade Apple Sauce.  All Sunday Lunches are presented with Roast Potatoes, a large homemade Yorkshire Pudding & traditionally made real gravy.  Fresh fish and vegetarian options are also available.

All of our desserts are homemade and provide a sweet finish to your meal, giving you, we hope, a divine end to a delicious meal.
